A site turned the internet's exposed webcams into a browsable live atlas. Half of them are bedrooms (ipcrawl.com)
IP Crawl collects webcams left open to the public internet and presents them as a living atlas you can browse — pools, shops, churches, and, unnervingly often, bedrooms.
An NVIDIA engineer said he couldn't open it in good faith and it should come down. Others noted the problem is a decade old — 'if you think nobody would connect that to the internet, at least 1000 people did' — and that the useful version of this site would warn the owners, not the voyeurs.
