Someone turned the Apple Vision Pro into an X11 server, and the thread bet X11 will outlive visionOS (lispm.net)
It accepts X11 connections over TCP, renders framebuffers at native resolution, does MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE auth, and even ships experimental GLX so OpenGL clients work 'as reliably as they did in the 2000s'.
The line the room loved: does anyone else suspect X11 will outlive visionOS?
