A fake DMCA from an island with zero inhabitants erased his article from Google (blog.pragmaticengineer.com)
The complaint was filed by an 'Ellie Piee' located on Bouvet Island, an uninhabited Norwegian territory near Antarctica with a population of zero. The asserted source it 'copied from' had nothing in common with the original. Google delisted the article anyway.
Someone who runs a domain-court case search engine recognized the pattern instantly: he gets the same bogus copyright purges aimed at publicly documented arbitration records. The cost to file is nothing; the cost to fight it falls entirely on the writer.
